With over 20 years’ experience in corporate strategy and supervision, Carsten is currently Chairman of the Board of machineMD AG. He is an expert in life sciences and digital health with the Swiss Innovation Promotion Agency.
His expertise includes market analysis, value proposition, business model evaluation and strategy development. As Chairman and Advisor, Carsten coaches CEOs in fundraising and partnerships, demonstrating a proven track record in strategy implementation, including budgeting, risk management and global representation through various channels.
As CEO of InfiniteVision Optics (France), Carsten orchestrated agreements with various stakeholders such as subcontractors, key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospitals and suppliers. He negotiated with potential buyers, ultimately leading to the sale of the company to Carl-Zeiss Meditec AG, which is listed on the stock exchange.
Carsten holds a doctorate from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
