A victory for health innovation, an innovative project rewarded by i-Lab
We are extremely proud to announce that TheraSonic, a startup co-founded and funded by M2care, has won the Grand Prize at the prestigious i-Lab competition! This award is a recognition of its exceptional innovation in the treatment of neurological diseases.
TheraSonic is developing a medical device to improve drug delivery to the brain in a non-invasive way using focused ultrasound.
TheraSonic stands out for its robotic approach, which allows the treatment of diseases involving multiple areas or large volumes in the brain, such as brain metastases. Building on more than 15 years of research at the NeuroSpin (CEA) and BioMaps (CNRS) laboratories, and with the support of M2care and Gustave Roussy, TheraSonic aims to turn innovations into concrete solutions for the benefit of patients.
