With over 20 years of experience in strategy and company oversight, Carsten is currently serving as Chairperson of the Board of Directors for machineMD AG as well as expert for life sciences and digital health at the Swiss Innovation Promotion agency. His expertise encompasses market analysis, value proposition, business model evaluation, and strategy development. As a Board Member and Advisor, Carsten provides coaching to CEOs in fund-raising and partnerships, demonstrating a proven track record in strategy implementation, including budgeting, risk management, and global representation through various channels.
In his role as CEO of InfiniteVision Optics (France), Carsten orchestrated agreements with diverse stakeholders such as subcontractors, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), hospitals, and suppliers. He negotiated with potential buyers leading eventually to the trade sale of the company to stock exchange-listed Carl-Zeiss Meditec AG.
Carsten holds a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.
